Rob Clyde
A recognized industry leader, Rob has over thirty years experience as a software executive with demonstrated leadership success at startup companies, small businesses, mid-size businesses, and large companies, including Adaptive Computing, Symantec, Axent Technologies, Raxco Software and Clyde Digital. He recently served as the CEO of Adaptive Computing, a 2013 Gartner Cool Vendor. He participated intimately and successfully in being acquired twice and in an IPO.  Rob was also the technology strategist behind over 20 acquistions at Symantec and Axent.  Rob served as the CTO of Symantec and was a co-founder of Axent Technologies.

He currently serves on the board of directors for Zimbra, a social media and collaboration software provider and ISACA, a global non-profit association with over 110,000 members in the cybersecurity, risk and assurance professions.
 
Rob's M&A experience includes the acquisition of Clyde Digital by Raxco Software, Assurenet Pathways by Axent Technologies, and Raptor by Axent Technologies, as well as the following Symantec acquisitions:  Axent Technologies, Recourse Technologies, SecurityFocus, RipTech, PowerQuest, Veritas, and Altiris.  He drove the initial technology strategy for the Symantec-Huawei joint venture in China.  He also assisted with TriCipher being acquired by VMware, Webroot's Prevx acquisition, PasswordBank being acquired by Symantec, and Telligent acquiring Leverage and Zimbra.
 
Rob has given over 500 speeches and is a frequent keynote presenter.  Conferences include: RSA, ISACA, NACD, Computer Security Institute, ISSA, Air Force Information Technology (AFTIC), Society for Information Management, CIO Summit, CIO Engage, Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders, Supercomm, Interop, and various venture and invester conferences.
 
He received the prestigous John Kuyers award for best speaker of the year for the Information Security Audit and Control Association (ISACA) in 2004.  In 2010, he received the Joseph J. Wasserman award from New York Metropolitan Chapter of ISACA for “Outstanding Achievement and Contribution to the Field of Information Systems Audit and Control”.
